I’m trying to add a matter device but I’m getting an error saying the hub is not on the same network e when it is
Hello, the phone and the hub are connected to the same network, the same range (2.4 GHz Wi-Fi)?
A possible situation is that the phone automatically selects 5.0 in the router, and the gateway selects 2.4.
You can check the selected network in M3 settings
But also had similar issue- unplugging M3 and plugged in after a short break helped in my case
I know this is kinda of an old post, but im new to the aquara ecosystem and getting the same error. My Hub M3 is connected via Ethernet and powered via PoE, I have a 2.4G network and a 5G network and if I connect my phone to either one, it still gives me the same message. It’s greyed out and says it not on the correct network. How am I supposed to connect my phone via ethernet when it doesn’t have an ethernet port.
You can use an Ethernet-to-Lightning / Ethernet-to-USBC Adapter
turn off your phone data, see if that helps
