Hub M3 & W100 HVAC Commands

When I change the temperature on my W100 controller, the Hub M3 successfully changes the temperature but it also somehow changes my AC unit vane settings…

I have my AC blow air downwards, to the side, away from the wall, but when I change the temperature on the W100 I can see the command from the M3 hub also makes changes to vane settings so then it blows air straight and up.

Any idea how to fix this!? I’ve tried to reconfigure the IR and tried literally every code of the 52 available. I also tried adding a custom remote to the Hub M3 but the problem persists.

This is very troublesome because the only reason that I bought the Hub M3 & W100 Climate Sensor is HVAC control.

It’s a Mitsubishi Electric AY35 model.

Ah I see. Thanks for the info. Any ETA on the fix would be nice.

@markwwd Confirmed, the infrared code library for the Mitsubishi Electric AY35 air conditioner model uses ID2997. When matching the remote control codes, please switch and select the ID2997 model’s infrared code by navigating through the left/right arrows.

I tried that one too and it also changes the vane settings when changing the temperature.
