Hubitat C8 Stuck on Blue Light During Initial Setup – Need Assistance!

Hi everyone, I just wanted to share my experience with the Hubitat C8 and see if anyone else has encountered a similar issue. I recently purchased the Hubitat C8 through a reseller and decided to give it a try. The setup seemed straightforward at first glance, but I’m now facing an unexpected hurdle.

I followed the instructions carefully: I connected the hub to my router using an Ethernet cable and powered it up. However, after more than 30 minutes, the hub is still stuck on a blue light. I’m not sure if it’s in a boot loop, stuck during initialization, or if there’s a hardware issue. I’ve tried unplugging it and letting it rest for a few minutes, but the same issue persists every time I power it back on.

I’m really hoping someone out there has encountered this before and can offer some guidance. I’ve heard that sometimes a hard reset or power cycling can help, but I’m not entirely sure how to perform that on the C8. Is there a specific sequence of button presses or a way to force a factory reset? Additionally, I’m wondering if there’s a firmware update available or if I should consider reaching out to Hubitat support directly.

I’m really excited about the potential of the Hubitat ecosystem, but this hiccup is making it difficult to get started. I’d greatly appreciate any advice, troubleshooting tips, or insights anyone might have. Let’s see if we can figure this out together!

Thanks in advance for your help and support!
