Hello everyone, I’ve been experiencing an interesting issue with my Hue devices that I’d like to share and seek advice on. Over the past couple of days, my Hue bulbs have started showing incorrect statuses. Specifically, they appear ‘on’ in the SmartThings app even when they’re physically off. It’s quite perplexing!
I’ve tried a few troubleshooting steps. Restarting the Hue hub seems to temporarily fix the issue, as the bulbs then correctly show as ‘off’. However, the problem returns once I manually turn them on and off again. Refreshing the app doesn’t seem to help, which is a bit frustrating.
I noticed that the Hue status page mentions an ongoing issue with unreachable bulbs. I wonder if this is related to what I’m experiencing. Could it be a broader issue affecting multiple users, or is there something specific I might be missing in my setup?
I’d appreciate any insights or suggestions on how to resolve this. It would be great to get back to seamless operation without having to constantly restart my hub. Thanks in advance for your help!
