Hue Dimmer Switch – Single Press Not Detected in Aqara Home

I’ve added my Philips Hue Dimmer Switch to the Aqara Home app. The device is visible in Aqara, and the long press trigger works correctly in automations. However, the single press trigger does not work at all.

I’ve already tried:
• Resetting the Hue Dimmer via the Hue app.
• Re-adding it to Aqara Home.
• Checking the automation settings.

In the device log inside Aqara Home, the single press event is not even registered, which means the hub doesn’t detect it at all. Long press events are logged normally.

The Hue Dimmer works fine for both single and long press in the Hue app and in Apple HomeKit, so the hardware itself is functioning correctly. This seems to be an Aqara Zigbee device profile limitation that doesn’t map the single press action.

Could Aqara please add full single press support for Hue Dimmer Switches in a future firmware upda

If u have a hue bridge try to implement all your HUE Devices using the matter Integration and see how the Dimmer behaves after this. Of course u need an Aqara Matter Controller like the M3 Hub oder G5 Cam.
