Hi everyone, I’m reaching out to see if anyone has encountered and resolved a similar issue with their Hue motion sensor. I recently noticed that after using it for a while, the sensor started experiencing a significant delay in detecting motion. At first, it worked perfectly—lights would turn on instantly when motion was detected. Now, about 2 out of 3 times, the lights don’t respond immediately, and sometimes there’s a frustrating 5-6 second delay before they activate. This has been quite a nuisance, especially when trying to navigate in the dark.
I did some troubleshooting and realized this issue started after I had to disconnect my router due to internet problems. I’m wondering if there’s a way to recalibrate or reset the sensor to restore its responsiveness. I’ve tried unplugging and replugging it, but that hasn’t helped. Has anyone else experienced something like this, and if so, how did you fix it? I’d really appreciate any advice or suggestions!
