I recently stumbled upon the Hue Wellness fixture and was immediately intrigued by its ability to adapt to different lighting needs throughout the day. Unfortunately, it seems like this model has been discontinued, making it a bit of a challenge to find a replacement. After some research, I thought I’d share my findings and experiences in case anyone else is in a similar situation.
First off, I reached out to a few local retailers and online marketplaces, but most either didn’t carry the Hue Wellness or didn’t have it in stock. It was a bit disheartening, but I didn’t want to give up just yet. I decided to explore alternative options that could mimic the features I loved about the Hue Wellness.
One of the most surprising finds was the Philips Hue White ambiance. While it doesn’t have the exact same features as the Wellness model, it does offer a wide range of brightness levels and a soft, warm light that’s perfect for creating a relaxing atmosphere. Plus, it’s compatible with the same ecosystem of Hue products, which was a big plus for me.
Another option I came across was the LIFX Z series. These bulbs are known for their vibrant colors and smooth transitions, which reminded me a lot of the Hue Wellness. They’re also compatible with a variety of smart home systems, making them a versatile choice.
For those looking for something a bit more budget-friendly, the Wyze Bulb V2 has been getting great reviews. While it doesn’t offer the same level of customization as the Hue Wellness, it’s a solid choice for basic smart lighting needs.
In the end, I decided to go with the Hue White ambiance bulbs for their versatility and compatibility with my existing setup. It wasn’t exactly what I was hoping for, but it’s been working beautifully so far. I’m still on the lookout for the Hue Wellness, but in the meantime, these alternatives have been a great solution.
