Hi everyone! I wanted to share my recent experience integrating my Wyze outdoor cameras with IFTTT and Alexa. It’s been a fantastic setup that adds both convenience and security to my home.
First, I installed the Wyze outdoor cameras under my eaves, which keeps them safe from the rain and snow. I secured them by drilling small holes in the base and using screws to mount them firmly. The view is much clearer than when I was using window-mounted cameras, and I didn’t have to deal with any obstructions.
To connect everything, I used IFTTT to create a simple automation where the cameras send me a notification whenever motion is detected. Pairing this with Alexa allows me to check the live feed or recorded clips hands-free. It’s been working flawlessly for the past three months, and I feel much more at ease knowing my property is monitored.
