I’m thrilled to share my recent experience integrating my Ikea E27 lamps with Homey. As a first-time user of Homey, I was initially nervous about getting everything set up, but it turned out to be a breeze!
I decided to replace my old lamps with these sleek Ikea E27s, and I must say, they’ve added a nice touch to my living room. Setting them up with Homey was straightforward—just a few taps in the Ikea app, and they were ready to go. I thought, this is going to be so much fun!
However, there was a small hiccup. When I switched the wall toggle, the lamps would still turn on and off, but Homey lost control. It was a bit frustrating, but after some research and reaching out to the community, I found that resetting the lamp and re-syncing it with Homey fixed the issue. Now, everything works perfectly!
I’m so happy with how this setup has enhanced my daily life. The ability to control the lamps via Homey is incredibly convenient, especially in the evenings when I don’t want to get out of my cozy spot on the couch. I can’t recommend this integration enough!
If anyone else is looking to make the switch to smart lighting, I highly suggest giving Ikea E27 lamps paired with Homey a try. It’s a match made in smart home heaven!
