Hey everyone, I wanted to share my recent experiences with my Ikea Zigbee lights and Blink cameras. First off, my Ikea Trådfri Zigbee lights have suddenly stopped communicating with my Homey. It’s been a few days of frustration as I’ve tried everything from rebooting Homey to updating the firmware. Unfortunately, reconnecting all 24 lights manually isn’t an option, and the Ikea app isn’t helping either. I’m really hoping someone here has a solution because manually switching lights on and off feels like a step back in time!
On another note, I’ve been having some issues with my Blink cameras. I have two cameras covering the same area from different angles, but they seem to struggle when it comes to simultaneous motion detection. For instance, one camera caught a motorcyclist entering my driveway, but the other camera, positioned at the bottom of the driveway, didn’t register anything. It’s frustrating because both cameras should have captured the incident, especially when my mom drove past shortly after. I’m wondering if there’s a setting or workaround that can improve their performance. Maybe having two sync modules could help, but I’m not sure.
