Impressive Customer Support

I bought a G4 doorbell used from someone on Facebook. I’m very tech savvy in general, but could not get this doorbell to link with the repeater. I searched all over online for tips and tricks. I watched videos, checked forums, used ChatGPT, etc. I was pretty disheartened, thinking I got scammed. As a last resort, I decided to email customer support. They replied fairly quickly with a detailed but concise description on what I could do. Sure enough, it worked the very first time. Even after knowing the fix, I couldn’t find that information anywhere online because I was curious to see if it was somewhere and I just missed it. Very cool!

I’ve also had positive experiences with customer support and if you describe your problem well then they can be very helpful.

Of course you can also describe your issues here, on the forum, we try to help as much as we can

How about telling us the solution so if anyone else has that problem, they can find it here.

Great idea! Haha. Below is their reply that worked for me. My doorbell was blinking blue instead of it having no light like is stated in the instructions. But this worked like a charm!

If the doorbell shows no indicator light, but the chime is connected to the Aqara Home app normally (solid blue light), please try the steps below:

Power off the doorbell completely for 10 minutes (remove both the wire connection and the batteries).
After 10 minutes, insert batteries only (do not connect the doorbell to wired power).
Press and hold the reset button on the back of the doorbell for 40 seconds and check whether the indicator light turns on.
If the blue indicator light starts flashing, please place the doorbell within 2 meters of the chime and check whether it can reconnect to the chime successfully.
