Improved Alexa Cam Viewing Experience

I wanted to share an exciting observation regarding the connection between Wyze cameras and Amazon Alexa Echo Show devices. Over the past couple of days, I noticed a significant improvement in how my cameras function on my Echo Show Gen 1. Previously, the video feed would time out after about 10 to 15 minutes, which was a bit frustrating. However, now the picture remains visible for up to 30 minutes, and the time lag has decreased as well. The buffering has also reduced, making the viewing experience much smoother.

This change came without any adjustments on my end, so I suspect it might be part of a recent update from Amazon or Wyze. It’s fantastic to see such improvements, and I’m hopeful that this enhanced performance will continue. If you haven’t noticed this yet, I encourage you to keep an eye out for any updates or changes to your camera connections. It’s always rewarding to see technology evolve and enhance our smart home experiences!
