Improving Camera Detection with Wyze Cam: Seeking Solutions

I’ve been using Wyze Cams for outdoor surveillance, and while they’ve been reliable, I’ve noticed a significant drop in detection performance over the past few weeks. This has been particularly concerning given the colder temperatures we’ve been experiencing here in Canada.

For instance, last week a delivery person came to my garage, stayed for about five minutes, and the camera only detected him after he left. Similarly, another delivery person was completely missed by the front door camera. This is a far cry from the consistent performance I experienced just a few weeks ago, even in sub-zero conditions.

I’ve tried restarting the cameras and ensuring they’re properly calibrated, but the issue persists. I’m curious if others have encountered similar problems and if there are any troubleshooting steps or settings adjustments that could help improve detection accuracy.

It would also be great if Wyze could provide some insights or updates on this matter. I’m hopeful there’s a solution to get these cameras back to performing at their best. Thanks in advance for any advice or suggestions!
