Improving Camera Resolution for Security Footage

Hey everyone, I just wanted to share a challenge I’ve been facing with my security cameras and see if anyone has any tips or solutions. Last week, some fellows broke into our cars and those of our neighbors. Luckily, we have V3 cameras with a security light, but the resolution on the faces was too poor to identify them. The static background looked sharp, but the moving objects were unclear—both on my iPhone and when exported to my Mac. I’m really hoping there’s a way to improve this.

I’ve heard that camera resolution can sometimes be adjusted, but I’m not sure how to go about it. Is there a setting I can tweak on the camera itself or in the accompanying app? I’ve also read about using AI to enhance video quality, but I’m not sure how feasible that is for my setup. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I’ve tried adjusting the camera’s position and lighting, but it doesn’t seem to make much of a difference. Maybe I need to look into higher-quality cameras or additional hardware? I’m open to any ideas, as long as they don’t break the bank. Thanks in advance for your help!
