I have 6 U100 locks installed but had a Level Lock Pro (Matter / Thread) on my front door b/c it looked very good. Fast forward after several lock-outs and Level Lock support hell, I ripped it out and put in a U400. Wow! This thing is a hoss … it is still a little kludgy to install (install in Apple Home first, THEN bind to Aqara hub). That said, it is brilliantly engineered, works EVERY time and has a Wife Acceptance Factor that is sky high. Love this lock and I’m confident Aqara will continue to fine tune the installation and firmware as they do with all of their products. This product is a winner!!!

I’m glad to hear you’re having such a great experience! The other day I came home with my bags full walking to the door and with that on my mind I completely forgot that I had the u400 there. I heard the unlock tone and was happy as hell to be able to get in with my hands full.
