Installing Multiple Homey Devices and MQTT Broker Setup

Installing multiple Homey devices was a bit of a puzzle for me at first. I had no idea how to add a second Homey to my account without everything getting tangled. After some digging through forums and watching a few videos, I finally figured it out! Turns out, you just need to make sure each Homey is set up as a standalone unit and then link them through the app. It’s a relief to have both working seamlessly together now.

Another challenge I faced was setting up the MQTT Broker on my openHAB system. I kept getting connection errors, and it was frustrating trying to pinpoint the issue. After reinstalling and checking configurations repeatedly, I realized my firewall settings were blocking the MQTT port. Once I adjusted that, everything fell into place. Now, my system is humming along nicely with MQTT handling all my device communications.
