Is it possible to install the u400 smart lock upside down? My door has a lever handle which is too close to the current deadlock hole. I would strongly prefer to use the same hole, but it would require installing the u400 upside down. Will that be an issue?

Don’t think so. At least from my experience the orientation does not matter at all…

The only thing that might be a problem is sensing the door state. I don’t know how mounting it upside down will impact the sensors that tell if the door is open or closed.
