I’ve been on a journey to integrate my Alexa devices seamlessly into my Home Assistant setup, and I’m thrilled to share my experience! 
Starting with the Alexa Media Player integration, I was initially puzzled when my infrared heater didn’t show up in HA despite working perfectly in the Alexa app. After some research, I realized I needed to ensure the Alexa skill was correctly linked and that the device was properly configured in HA. Once sorted, it was like magic—my heater was fully integrated, and I could control it right from the HA dashboard! 
Another highlight was setting up routine automations using CoRE. I wanted my dimmer switch to boost brightness to 100% if turned on again after being partially lit. Through some trial and error with conditions and triggers, I nailed it! Now, tapping the switch again gives me the perfect lighting without any hassle.
For those looking to expand their setup, I’ve found the Shelly devices to be game-changers. Using a Shelly 1L to control both my LED ceiling light and a Shelly Plug S for the cabinet light was initially tricky, but tweaking the I/O URL actions did the trick. Now, both lights respond perfectly to button presses, and I can control them remotely.
One thing I’ve learned is the importance of firmware updates. Ensuring all devices are up-to-date has been crucial for smooth operation. I also recommend checking device IDs and configurations regularly to avoid any hiccups.
