I wanted to create a simple flow where the lights turn on when motion is detected, but only if the ambient light is below a certain threshold. At first, I was puzzled why some features were available in the ‘when’ section of the flow editor but not in the ‘and’ section. After some trial and error, I realized it was just a matter of understanding how the flow builder prioritizes conditions.
Thanks to the detailed documentation and the helpful tips from more experienced users, I figured out how to structure my flow correctly. Now, it works perfectly: the Aqara sensor detects motion, checks the light level, and if it’s too dim, the Lumix lights come on automatically. It’s such a small thing, but it makes a huge difference in convenience!
