Hi everyone, I’ve recently built an electric beer lift following the instructions from Bierlift.de and I’m really excited about the project. However, I’m facing a bit of a challenge with the control system. Currently, it’s set up using an Arduino board connected to Alexa, but I find it quite complex.
Since I already use HomematicIP throughout my house, I thought it would be great to integrate the 24V motor control into my existing system. The motor has two end contacts, and I believe it should be possible to connect it to a HomematicIP actor.
I’ve looked into the current electronics setup, which uses a combination of cables and adapters, but I’m not entirely sure how to proceed with the integration. I’ve considered whether a rollershutter actuator could work, but I’m not confident about the connections or the necessary configuration.
Has anyone here successfully integrated a similar setup? Any tips or advice would be incredibly helpful. I think I might be overcomplicating things, so I’m hoping the community can provide some clarity.
Thanks in advance for your help! Cheers, Mike
