Hello everyone, I’ve recently purchased a BLE Smart Lock from BURG Wächter and I’m really impressed with its performance. However, I’m curious if it’s possible to integrate this lock seamlessly into Home Assistant. I’ve tried looking into ESPHome, but it doesn’t seem to support other BLE locks. Maybe there’s a workaround or a similar product that could help? I’d love to hear from anyone who has successfully integrated a BLE lock into their setup!
On another note, I’ve been experimenting with automations in Home Assistant. I set up a rule where if there’s no motion detected in a room for 20 minutes and the door is open, it sends a notification. But I’ve noticed that the motion sensor is being ignored, and the notification is triggered regardless of motion. I’m not sure why this is happening. Does anyone have any insights or solutions for this issue?
I also came across a problem with my Lutron Caseta dimmer switch. It seems that the light status doesn’t always update in Home Assistant, causing some automations to fail intermittently. I’m wondering if there’s a way to ensure more reliable status updates from the dimmer switch. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Lastly, I’ve been trying to set up an automation that sends a notification with a picture when someone is detected in my yard. The snapshot works, but the image isn’t showing up in the notification. I’ve tried different directories, but I’m still stuck. If anyone has successfully implemented something similar, I’d love to hear about your setup!
