Hey everyone! I’ve been trying to integrate my calendar with Home Assistant to get meeting reminders via my Google Home speaker. The goal is to have it say, ‘You have [meeting title] meeting after 10 minutes.’ I’ve got my calendar integrated into HA, and I know TTS is working because I can make it say other things. But I’m stuck on how to set up the automation for this specific scenario.
I’ve seen some examples online, but I’m not entirely sure how to structure the automation. Do I need to use a specific sensor or trigger? Also, I’m not sure how to reference the meeting title dynamically. Any tips or examples would be super helpful!
Another thing I’m curious about is how to ensure the Google Home speaker is recognized properly in HA. I’ve added it as a device, but I want to make sure it’s set up correctly to receive these reminders.
