Hello everyone, I hope you’re all doing well! I’ve been working on integrating my Doorbird doorbell system with my Homematic IP setup, and I wanted to share my experiences and ask for some advice.
I’ve noticed that the push notifications from Doorbird can sometimes be delayed, which is a bit frustrating, especially when I’m expecting a delivery or visitor. After some research, I came across the HmIP-FCI1 switch, which seems like a good solution for capturing the doorbell signal. However, I’ve also seen some discussion about the HmIP-MP3P and whether it’s compatible with the Homematic IP Cloud.
From what I understand, the HmIP-MP3P isn’t currently compatible with the Homematic IP Cloud, which means it might not work seamlessly with my existing setup. I’m wondering if there are any alternative components or workarounds that could help me achieve the integration I’m looking for.
In the meantime, I’ve been experimenting with the HmIP-FCI1 and it seems promising. I’d love to hear if anyone else has successfully integrated their Doorbird system with Homematic IP and what components they used. Any tips or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
Looking forward to hearing from you all. Thanks for your help and support! ![]()
