Hi everyone, I’m currently exploring the possibility of integrating my newly purchased Echo Show 15 Gen 2 with my Homey system. While I’ve managed to connect other devices seamlessly in the past, this one has been a bit of a puzzle. I’ve spent quite some time researching and attempting different methods, but I’m still unable to get it recognized within the Homey app.
I started by ensuring that both devices are on the same network, which they are. I’ve also tried resetting the Echo Show to factory settings and rejoining my network, but that didn’t resolve the issue. I even reached out to Amazon support, but they weren’t much help either.
I remember successfully integrating my older Echo devices using a third-party app, but it seems like the newer models are more locked down. I’m wondering if there’s a workaround or a specific setting I might have missed. Has anyone here managed to connect their Echo Show 15 Gen 2 with Homey? Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated!
On a positive note, I’ve had great experiences with Homey’s ecosystem, and I’m really looking forward to expanding my setup with this new device. The integration would allow me to leverage the Echo Show’s display for more interactive home automation controls, which would be fantastic.
