Hello everyone, I’m thrilled to share my recent journey of integrating the Weidmann Emlog software into my smart home setup. As a long-time user of Emlog, I’ve always been impressed by its robust data logging capabilities, and I was eager to bring this functionality into the modern smart home ecosystem. After some research, I discovered that integrating Emlog with Home Assistant (HA) through IoBroker was the way to go. The process involved setting up an HTTP request to pull data from Emlog’s JSON API, which was a bit technical but ultimately rewarding. I’m now able to monitor my gas usage directly within HA, which adds a new layer of convenience to my energy management. If anyone has tips or experiences to share about similar integrations, I’d love to hear them!
