Hello everyone! I’ve been exploring ways to streamline my smart home setup, and I came across a feature request that resonated with me. The idea is to integrate energy sockets, like smart plugs or inline meters, directly into the devices they monitor. This would mean no more clutter from separate energy sockets in the Homey device list, cleaner energy tracking tied directly to the devices, and proper switching behavior without cutting power through the socket.
I’d love to hear if others are also interested in this and if the Homey team might consider implementing something like it. It would make controlling devices more intuitive and energy monitoring more seamless. If anyone has insights or experiences with similar setups, please share your thoughts!
