Hey everyone, I’m thrilled to share my recent success in integrating my Eufy doorbell into Home Assistant! As a newbie, this journey was both exciting and a bit daunting, but I’m happy to say it worked out beautifully. Here’s how I did it:
First, I installed the necessary integration through HACS, using the repository provided by nonsleepr. The setup was straightforward—just a few clicks and my account was linked. Initially, I was a bit worried when the doorbell didn’t show up immediately, but after a quick restart and ensuring all connections were secure, everything fell into place.
Now, I can monitor my doorbell right from the Home Assistant dashboard. It’s amazing how seamlessly it integrates with other smart devices. For instance, when someone rings the bell, my lights automatically turn on, and I receive a notification on my phone. This has added a whole new layer of convenience and security to my home.
I’d like to extend a big thank you to the community for the wealth of resources and support. If anyone else is looking to integrate their Eufy doorbell, I highly recommend giving this integration a try. It’s user-friendly and incredibly reliable!
Happy automating everyone! ![]()
