Integrating External Temperature Sensors for Hydroponics

Hi everyone, I’m currently exploring ways to monitor and control the water temperature in my hydroponics setup. I’ve been looking into various devices that can work with SmartThings, but I haven’t found a suitable Z-Wave or Wi-Fi option yet. I came across the Zooz 4-in-1 sensor and wondered if it’s possible to attach an external temperature sensor to it. I opened it up and took a look inside, but I’m not entirely sure how to proceed with soldering or if it’s even feasible. I also noticed that the Fibaro 857934005119 door/window sensor has inputs for external sensors, but it’s currently sold out. If anyone has experience with this or knows of a reliable alternative, I’d greatly appreciate your insights. Ensuring the right water temperature is crucial as summer approaches, and I want to make sure my plants stay healthy. Thanks in advance for any help!
