Integrating Fibaro RGBW with Smart Home Ecosystem

Hey everyone, I just wanted to share my recent experience integrating the Fibaro RGBW controller into my smart home setup. I’ve been looking for a way to connect my shades without having to deal with soldering or complicated wiring, and the Fibaro RGBW seemed like the perfect solution.

I have a few shades, and I wanted to control them using my SmartThings ecosystem. The Fibaro RGBW has four outputs, so I decided to connect two shades to one controller—using one output for the up command and another for the down command. It took a bit of trial and error, but I managed to set it up successfully!

For those who might be interested in doing something similar, I created a device type and a SmartApp to manage the two shades independently. It was a bit challenging at first, but with some research and help from the community, I got it working smoothly.

I’d love to hear if anyone else has tried something similar or has tips for improving this setup. It’s been a great way to enhance my home automation without the hassle of more invasive installations. Happy coding and integrating everyone! :rocket:
