Integrating Fronius Inverter and Govee Lights: A User's Experience

Hey everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience integrating my Fronius Symo 5.0-3 M Inverter and Govee RGBICWW Floor Lamp into my Home Assistant setup. It’s been quite a journey, and I hope this helps someone else out there!

First off, the Fronius inverter. I’ve been trying to connect it via IP address for a couple of days now. I’ve set up a static IP in the Solar.Web interface and tried both the main IP and the Wi-Fi access point IP, but nothing seems to work. The Home Assistant integration keeps timing out with a ‘failed to connect’ error. I’ve read through countless forums and guides, but I’m still stuck. Has anyone successfully connected their Symo 5.0-3 M to HA? Any tips on settings in the Solar.Web interface or HA configuration would be greatly appreciated!

On the other hand, my experience with the Govee RGBICWW Floor Lamp has been nothing short of amazing. I’ve always been a fan of their products, and this one didn’t disappoint. I mounted it on the ceiling behind some hexagons, which was a bit of a challenge but turned out beautifully. The colors and brightness are perfect for creating different moods in my living space. If you’re on the fence about Govee, I’d highly recommend giving them a try!

One thing I’ve noticed with both devices is the importance of proper setup and configuration. With the Fronius, it’s all about getting that IP address just right, and with the Govee, it’s about finding the right placement and settings. I’m still tweaking things here and there, but it’s been a rewarding process overall.

If anyone has tips on troubleshooting the Fronius connection or creative ways to use Govee lights, I’d love to hear them! Let’s keep the conversation going and help each other out. Cheers! :star2:
