Integrating Govee and Konnected for a Seamless Smart Home Experience

Hey everyone! I’ve been diving into the world of smart home integration lately, and I wanted to share some of my experiences and questions with you all. Hopefully, someone out there can offer some insights or tips!

First off, I recently got my hands on a Govee Studio setup, and while I love the DIY aspect of it, I’ve been struggling with grouping my lightbulbs within the app. Does anyone know if there’s a way to group lights directly in Govee Studio, or perhaps transfer my existing DIY setups to another app for better management? I’m really keen on optimizing my lighting setup, so any advice would be fantastic!

Speaking of integration, I’ve been eyeing the Konnected system as a potential addition to my smart home ecosystem. From what I understand, Konnected is essentially a branded Arduino board, which sounds pretty versatile. However, I’m curious if anyone has successfully integrated Konnected with Hubitat. I’ve heard some mentions of it being possible, but I’m not quite sure where to start. I called Nate about it, and he mentioned that a community developer could help, but my coding skills are more on the novice side. If anyone has tackled this before, I’d love to hear about your experiences or any resources you might recommend!

On a lighter note, I stumbled upon a really cool project someone did with their HomematicIP devices. They managed to display battery levels as a percentage in Home Assistant instead of just ‘normal’ or ‘low’. It involved some clever use of templates and sensors. I thought it was such a neat hack and wanted to share it here in case others were looking for a similar solution. It definitely adds a layer of convenience and customization to the system!

Lastly, I can’t help but marvel at how far smart home tech has come. From integrating different brands to creating custom automations, it’s amazing how much control and personalization we can achieve. I’m really excited to see what the future holds, especially with more brands like Wyze and Govee pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

If anyone has tips, tricks, or even just a good story about their smart home journey, I’d love to hear them! Let’s keep the conversation flowing and help each other out on this journey to smarter living. Cheers! :rocket:
