Hey everyone! I’m really excited to share my latest project and see if I can get some help from the community. I’ve been diving into the world of smart home automation, and I’m trying to integrate my Govee LED strips with a Logitech Pop smart button. The goal is to have my lights turn on or off with the press of a button, or even when my TV turns on/off. It’s all about making my space more convenient and less reliant on my phone!
Right now, I’ve got two Govee LED strips in my bedroom and a Logitech Pop smart button stuck to my headboard. The setup works perfectly for turning off my TV and bedroom lights, but my Govee strips are still on. I know I can use my phone or Google Home, but searching for my phone or saying, ‘Hey Google,’ can be a bit disruptive, especially when my partner is trying to sleep.
IFTTT support would be fantastic because it would allow me to link the smart button directly to my Govee LED strips. I could even set them to turn on or off along with my TV. I’ve heard IFTTT can be really powerful for these kinds of automations, but I’m not entirely sure how to get started. If anyone has experience with this kind of setup, I’d love to hear your tips or step-by-step guides!
Also, if IFTTT isn’t the best solution, I’m open to other suggestions. Maybe there’s a way to use the Logitech Pop button with another service or even some custom automation rules. I’m really just looking for a seamless way to control my lights without pulling out my phone every time.
Thanks in advance for any advice or help! Let’s make my bedroom the smartest room in the house! ![]()
