Hey everyone! I wanted to share my experience integrating Govee LED strips with SmartThings for some custom lighting effects. I’ve always been a fan of customizable lighting, and the combination of Govee’s affordable LED strips and SmartThings’ automation capabilities has been a game-changer for me. 
I started by setting up my Govee LED strips using the Magic Home app, which was a breeze. The integration with SmartThings was seamless thanks to the Zigbee protocol. I now have my LED strips fully integrated into my SmartThings ecosystem, allowing me to control them through voice commands, routines, and even geofencing! 
One of my favorite setups is using the LED strips to create a dynamic lighting scene for movie nights. I programmed the lights to gradually dim as the movie starts and sync with the on-screen action using a simple IFTTT rule. It’s a small touch, but it really enhances the experience! 
Another fun project was setting up my outdoor lights to change colors based on the weather. Using SmartThings’ weather integration, my Govee LED strips now automatically switch to a warm orange hue on cloudy days and a cool blue on sunny days. It’s a subtle way to bring a bit of the outdoors inside!
