So, I’ve got this door sensor that flashes red when the door opens, and I’ve set up an automation where it changes the light color when the door closes. Initially, I was just changing it back to a default setting, but I wanted something a bit more dynamic. After some tinkering, I figured out how to make it revert to the previous setting—whether that’s turning off the light completely or switching back to a specific color. It’s such a small thing, but it makes a big difference in how intuitive the system feels!
