I’ve been on a journey to integrate my HomeKit devices with my existing KNX system, and it’s been quite an adventure! 
Initially, I was using the 1Home Bridge to bring my KNX devices into HomeKit, which worked well for basic functionality. But I wanted to take it a step further and integrate everything seamlessly into Home Assistant without diving deep into YAML configurations. 
After some research and experimentation, I discovered that using Home Assistant’s native KNX integration along with HomeKit配件 was the way to go. This setup allows me to control my heating, roller shutters, and lighting through both HomeKit and Home Assistant, providing the best of both worlds!

- Start small: Begin with one room or one type of device to get a feel for the integration process.
- Use scenes: Create scenes in Home Assistant that mirror your HomeKit automations for a consistent experience.
- Test thoroughly: Make sure to test each integration point to ensure there’s no interference between systems.
