Hi everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience integrating the KEBA P40 Wallbox with Home Assistant. While there are existing integrations for older KEBA models using UDP, the P40 doesn’t support this protocol. However, I discovered that the P40 does support Modbus communication, which opened up new possibilities for integration.After some research and guidance from the EVCC Community, I managed to set up the integration using Modbus. The process involved configuring the Modbus settings on the P40 and setting up the corresponding integration in Home Assistant. I documented the steps I took and shared them in a community thread, which I hope can help others who are looking to integrate their KEBA P40 Wallbox.The integration allows me to monitor and control the charging process directly from Home Assistant, which is a huge convenience.
