Another area I’ve been exploring is enhancing Alexa skills for my smart home devices. I’ve managed to set up a virtual switch for my Harmony activities, allowing me to trigger specific routines with voice commands. However, I’m now looking to take it a step further by creating sequences that run multiple activities consecutively. For instance, I’d love to tell Alexa to “Turn On Commercial Skip,” which would activate my Commercial Skip activity and then switch back to my Watch TV activity seamlessly. I’ve tried grouping activities under a single virtual switch, but it only triggers the first one. Any suggestions on how to achieve this would be fantastic!
On a lighter note, I’ve also been experimenting with customizing my Home Assistant dashboard, particularly font sizes. It’s amazing how a small tweak can make the interface more visually appealing and user-friendly.
