Hey everyone! I wanted to share my recent experience with integrating my Lutron Caseta system with Apple Home using HomeKit. It’s been a journey, but I’m thrilled with how it turned out.
I recently upgraded to Hubitat Pro and had to re-integrate Caseta. At first, I was a bit stuck because every time I tried to connect to the Caseta hub, my iPhone kept showing a screen asking for a code. I pressed the button, and the screen just went away—no luck there. I called tech support, and they saw the same issue on their end.
Then, I pulled out my iPad Air (M1) and tried connecting there. Voilà! The code entered smoothly, and everything started working perfectly. It was such a relief! I just wanted to share this in case anyone else is facing a similar issue. Sometimes, switching devices can make all the difference.
Now, having my lights integrated with Apple Home has been amazing. I can control them with voice commands, set up scenes, and even automate them based on my routines. It’s been a game-changer for how I manage my home.
