Hi everyone! I’m really excited to share my experience with integrating weather data into my smart home setup. I’ve been using the Weather Radar card for a while now, but I noticed it only shows historical data. I wanted something more forward-looking, so I decided to try integrating the Meteoswiss weather maps.
I’ve been relying on their website for accurate weather updates, especially since I’m in Switzerland where rain is quite common. The idea was to display their radar map directly on my dashboard. I tried embedding the website, but it didn’t work as expected.
Has anyone successfully integrated external weather maps into their Home Assistant setup? I’d love to hear your solutions or workarounds. I’m considering using iframe widgets or maybe scraping the data, but I’m not sure which approach would be most reliable.
