Hey everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience integrating my Mitsubishi mini splits with Home Assistant. It’s been a journey, but I’m thrilled to finally have everything working seamlessly!
I recently installed a Mitsubishi heat pump with a few mini splits, all equipped with the PAC-USWHS002-WF-2 wireless interface. The goal was to control them through Home Assistant using the KumoCloud integration. At first, it was a bit of a puzzle. I tried following some guides I found online, but many were tailored for the Australian market, which didn’t quite fit my setup.
After some research, I discovered that while the KumoCloud integration works well for many users, there were a few tweaks needed to make it play nice with Home Assistant. I reached out to the community here, and the support I received was incredible. With a bit of trial and error, I managed to get everything connected without needing to rely on theComfort app for direct control.
Now, I can adjust temperatures, monitor energy usage, and even set up schedules directly from Home Assistant. It’s such a relief to have everything under one roof, so to speak. The integration has made my home smarter and more efficient, and I couldn’t be happier with the result.
If anyone else is struggling with similar setup issues, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’d be happy to share what worked for me and help troubleshoot any hiccups along the way. Happy automating! ![]()
