I recently embarked on a project to integrate various smart devices into my Fibaro HC2 system, aiming to create a seamless and unified smart home experience. While the journey has been exciting, it hasn’t been without its challenges. One of the most rewarding aspects has been successfully adding devices from different brands, such as Hue lights, AV units, and the Harmony Elite hub. However, I encountered an issue where these devices didn’t appear in the list of available devices when trying to create scenes using Magic Scene or blocks. This was puzzling since they were clearly listed on the devices page. After some research and experimentation, I discovered that adjusting the device settings and ensuring proper plugin configurations resolved the issue. It was a great learning experience, and I’m now able to create more dynamic and personalized scenes.
