Integrating Multiple Smart Lighting Brands with Homey

I’ve been exploring the world of smart lighting and have to say, it’s been an exciting journey! I currently have a mix of Ikea Tradfri lights, Innr LED strings, and Philips Hue lights in my home, and I’m trying to figure out the best way to control them all through Homey.

One of the questions I’ve been pondering is whether to add all the lights to the Hue ecosystem and then integrate the Hue Bridge into Homey, or to install individual apps from each brand and manage everything through Homey’s Zigbee network. I’ve heard both approaches have their pros and cons, but I’m not entirely sure which would be more seamless or efficient.

I’d love to hear from others who’ve successfully integrated multiple lighting brands into their Homey setup. What’s been your experience? Did you face any challenges, and how did you overcome them? Any tips or best practices would be greatly appreciated!

It’s also fascinating to see how smart lighting can transform a space. I’ve been experimenting with different color combinations and scenes, and it’s amazing how a little customization can completely change the ambiance of a room. I’m curious to know how others are leveraging their multi-brand setups to create unique lighting experiences.

Looking forward to your insights and experiences! Let’s continue to explore and enhance our smart homes together. :star2:
