Hi everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience integrating my new Philips TV with Homey. As a long-time fan of Philips TVs, especially their Ambilight feature, I was excited to see how seamlessly it could work with my existing smart home setup.
I purchased the Philips Oled805 model, which not only offers stunning picture quality but also supports the Ambilight feature I’ve come to love. Setting it up with Homey was surprisingly straightforward. The integration process was smooth, and I was able to control the TV’s settings, including brightness and volume, directly from the Homey app. The Ambilight feature adds a whole new dimension to my viewing experience, making it feel more immersive than ever.
One thing I particularly appreciate is the ability to automate the TV’s settings based on the time of day or specific activities. For example, I have it set to dim the lights and lower the volume when it’s late at night, ensuring a peaceful environment. This level of customization makes my home feel even more connected and intelligent.
