Hey everyone, I’m really excited to share my journey of integrating podcasts into my Home Assistant setup! As a parent with two little kids who love listening to podcasts, I’ve been experimenting with a setup that uses spare mobile phones and Google Mini speakers in their rooms. While it works, I’m looking to streamline everything through Home Assistant for better control and monitoring.
Currently, I’m using a NAS with a download manager to fetch podcast feeds, but organizing them and tracking which episodes have been played is a hassle.
