Hi everyone, I’m new to the world of smart home integration and I’m excited to share my experiences and ask for some advice. I recently purchased a Revogi Smart Sense sensor (SGW001) and I’m curious to know if it’s possible to integrate this device into my existing smart home setup. I’ve heard great things about its reliability, but I’m not entirely sure how to get started with the integration process. Any tips or step-by-step guides would be incredibly helpful!
On another note, I’ve been experiencing some issues with Alexa’s force sync feature. Prior to the 2023.5.0 update, I was able to manually force sync my Alexa entities, which was super handy when clearing devices and re-syncing. However, it seems this option has been removed, and I’m finding it challenging to manage my devices now. Has anyone else encountered this issue, and if so, have you found a workaround or a solution? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
Lastly, I wanted to share a success story. I recently managed to set up a slider for controlling LED brightness using PWM on an ESP8266. It was a bit of a learning curve, especially since I’m new to Home Assistant, but with some research and trial and error, I was able to customize the slider range to my liking. It’s such a satisfying feeling to see everything working smoothly after putting in the effort. I’m now looking to expand my setup and I’m open to suggestions on how to take it to the next level!
