Hey everyone, I wanted to share my recent success in integrating the Ring Alarm Keypad with Home Assistant. After some research and experimentation, I managed to get everything working seamlessly, and I thought it might be helpful to document the process for others who are interested.
The Journey
I’ve been using Home Assistant for a while now, and while I love its flexibility, integrating third-party devices can sometimes be a bit of a puzzle. The Solution
With the recent support for S2 security in ZWaveJS2MQTT, I decided to give it another shot. I followed the official documentation and some community guides, and to my delight, it worked perfectly! The keypad now integrates smoothly with my existing security setup, allowing me to arm and disarm my system directly from Home Assistant.
