I’ve been exploring ways to integrate my Ring cameras into my Home Assistant setup, and it’s been quite an adventure! I recently set up a routine where my outdoor lights turn red when the garage door opens, providing a subtle alert. My wife loves this feature, but she’s hoping to take it a step further. She wants the Ring Spotlight Pro camera to automatically switch to the Echo Show 10 when the garage door opens and stay active until it closes. I’ve been brainstorming for days, but I could use some fresh ideas! 
On another note, I’ve been experimenting with Wyze cameras, but their motion detection leaves a lot to be desired. Even with sensitivity set to minimum, I’m still getting false alerts. It’s frustrating, especially since I was hoping to replace my Arlo cameras with something more affordable. Has anyone found a workaround for this issue? 
As I continue to tweak my setup, I’ve also been diving into automations. I recently created a scene where my living room lights dim when I say, ‘Goodnight.’ It’s such a small thing, but it adds so much convenience. I’m curious if others have similar automations or tips for making daily routines smoother. 
Lastly, I stumbled upon a fantastic community project where someone programmed their smart lights to change colors based on the weather. It’s a fun way to stay updated without checking the app. If anyone has similar creative uses for their smart devices, I’d love to hear about them!
