I’m exploring how to connect my Ring doorbell with Alexa to automate my lighting system. The goal is to have my smart lights turn on whenever the Ring doorbell detects motion. I’ve successfully integrated both devices into my Alexa ecosystem, but I’m running into some challenges with the setup.
I tried linking them directly through the Ring app, but it seems limited to only connecting with other Ring products. I also attempted importing Alexa devices into the Ring app, but it didn’t recognize any of my lights. It would be fantastic to get some advice or workarounds from the community on how to bridge this gap.
