Hi everyone, I’m currently working on integrating my Shelly BLU TRV with a door sensor in the same room. The goal is to use the door opening behavior to trigger certain actions, but I’m running into some issues. Let me share what I’ve done so far and where I’m stuck.
I’ve successfully paired my Shelly BLU Door/Window sensors with Shelly Plus 2 PM devices, and everything works smoothly in the app and cloud. Now, I’ve added the new Shelly BLU TRV units, and I want to connect one of the door sensors to the TRV. However, when I try to pair them in the app, it doesn’t work even after holding the button on the door sensor for over 10 seconds. I’ve tried multiple times, but the same issue persists.
Interestingly, I can access the door sensor using the Shelly BLE Debug App and even perform a firmware update, which means the sensor is reachable. So, why isn’t it pairing with the TRV? I’m hoping someone can shed some light on this.
I’m really excited about the potential of this integration, especially for automating heating based on room occupancy.
