Hello everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience integrating Shelly devices with Homematic motion sensors. It was a bit of a challenge at first, but I managed to find a solution that works perfectly for my setup.
First, I realized that a direct connection wasn’t possible, so I decided to use a single program to bridge the gap. The program is straightforward: when motion is detected, it triggers the Shelly 1 light to turn on. I set up a timer on the Shelly to turn the light off after 3 minutes, which adds a nice touch of automation.
For those interested, I adjusted the timing settings on the Shelly to ensure everything works seamlessly. The best part is that this setup is cost-effective compared to traditional Homematic actuators, making it a great option for budget-conscious users. However, keep in mind that the Shelly requires a Wi-Fi connection to function properly.
